Topic 9: Monthly Moral Story
The Tricolor Kite
It was the morning of August 15th. Seven-year-old Rohan wanted to fly his new kite, which had the three colors of the Indian flag: Saffron, White, and Green. He ran to the park, but there was no wind. Rohan kept throwing the kite into the air, but it kept falling down into the muddy puddles.
His older sister, Meera, came over. “Rohan, you can’t force the kite to fly alone,” she said. “Let me hold the spool, and you walk a few steps back. When the breeze comes, we will pull together.”
They waited patiently. Suddenly, a cool monsoon breeze swept through the trees. Working together, Meera released the thread while Rohan gently tugged. The beautiful tricolor kite soared high into the sky, dancing proudly.
Moral: True freedom and success are achieved when we show patience and work together as a team.
